It happens during the second half of the installation (I am told by my PC manufacturer that at this stage the program is installing drivers) I spent 12 hrs on it Option 2 worked for me, but I still had my original problem of having window 7 stuck at the "start window" screen. I then after several tries formated my HD and reistalled XP and updated to SP2 (left everything a default settings and drivers). However, when I try to install it I hit a problem.
