Windows 7 Slow Boot (Sometime).
The Microsoft Support site describes that problem and offers a hotfix. That erratic behavior looks a lot like my random "sometimes fine, sometimes slow" problem. It literally took 5-7 minutes just to boot up and now it boots up in about 30-50 secs...plus I didn't change any other settings or turn anything off. - Went into disk management to see if the reason I couldn't access it was due to it still being dismounted and just being shown in the My Computer screen.

solved Using a SSD for just boot up and a game and then a HHD for everything else.
