The problem still persists. I can successfully open the program in Safe Mode as you explained how to do. I can start outlook in safe mode: outlook /safe.
The problem is that it takes a minute or so for it to copy over, where it used to be almost instant.
Very weird.I will come back here to see if something pops up on this. At this point open TaskManager and I see two 32bit versions of Outlook.exe running ... If you use the "Hide When Minimized" option and manage Outlook from the status bar, it should all work normally without loads of Outlooks all running at the same time. I assumed it is a feature not a bug!
