Bob December 21, 2016 Reply Simpliest solutiom…un plug internet or disconnect completely,turn off automatic updates,restart system,then apply cumulative update…only took seconds to start,no searching for updates….easy Andy D. It's a bit of a pain in the butt, but this approach has often worked on our computers and those of clients. But sometimes, you shut it down, reboot, and you still get the update Shut down notice.
