It has done this 1 time(s). Make sure you are grounded by using proper grounding techniques, i.e. In testing one stick at a time, this is in order to eliminate the good sticks from the bad. However for now after reinstalling Windows no BSOD-in-the-face as of yet.

Or in some rare cases anti-virus software interfering with its own drivers. There is such a thing as the Verifier tool (Run, Verifier, select all drivers).
