In meantime I now additionally turn off the psu switch to prevent this. I checked everything to make sure it wasn't being wakening by a wake on lan, controller, task sch. Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site. This is by far the weirdest thing I've seen in 20 years and have built many systems with Asus mobo's. The only problem left is that the wifi indicator still not showingit good accurate range of wifi signal but its ok I just have to wait for another updates from microsoft Again check both theses power settings as well as under the Device Properties for ALL network devices installed in the PC. Maybe an update in the software will cure it.
Should I tell him about my imposter syndrome? In the past I had some similar situations so maybe somehow there is something wrong. Have been searching for a solution and have tried various things but nothing worked. Thanks a ton it works !
