Reply Masty September 6, 2014 at 9:42 am Totally fixed my mouse it seems, advice for putting the spring back - just pull it forward with tweezers to release then place I used the mouse control app and swapped the left and right click buttons and the problem went away. for anyone trying to do this… make sure you have a good high table, lot's of light and a pair of tweezers!..

Not concered about it--got this far--going farther. I am using it to move and or copy folders or files or email from one directory or email folder to another. i have a g700 and instead of taking off the spring, i just gently rub an x-acto tip on the contact. That's it and my mouse started working.
