Are you finalising the burned DVDs? But WinXP has no idea its present. Solution 2 worked. It sounds very confusing and i am not very tech savvy when it comes to things like this.

If you have set Nero to open upon insertion of a blank CD or DVD, perhaps it is the opening of Nero in this fashion that is causing the blue screen.
