It will be 0x followed by a bunch of zeroes and then end with either 2 letters of a letter with a number like: 0xd1. If the error occurs, try a different stick [in a different DIMM, just for kicks]. - Are you saying that when you try to install/update DirectX it goes to a blue screen?
- If it isn't, you need to navigate their driver download section.

Your hard drive is very low on free space. for Example while playing Saints row the third it didn't crash till i shot my gun.
